SNLC Goals
- Provide a series of professional development workshops throughout the school year to enhance the quality of literacy instruction throughout Nevada.
- Bring together the resources of the Southern Nevada Writing Project, Regional Professional Development Program, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Silver State Reading Association to expand professional development and research opportunities across Nevada.
- Publish a quarterly SNLC newsletter and series of “occasional papers” for CCSD teachers, UNLV students and faculty in electronic form.
- Involve UNLV Doctoral students in discussions about literacy issues and research.
